Taíno Today: Art and Culture in the Caribbean

On the occasion of the exhibition Pacha, Llaqta, Wasichay: Indigenous Space, Modern Architecture, New Art, this conversation explores the field of Taíno art and culture. Speakers include exhibiting artist Jorge Gonzalez and scholars Jorge Estevez and Jose Barreiro, co-curators of the exhibition Taíno: Native Heritage and Identity in the Caribbean at the Smithsonian’s Museum of the American Indian.
