We’re Here to Help
The Whitney’s top priority is the health and well-being of our visitors and staff. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. We cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit, and all those entering the Whitney do so at their own risk as to such exposure. Read all our visitor policies.
We may share your name and email address with a governmental health authority should that information be requested for COVID-19 contact tracing purposes. If you do not want your name or email address used for these purposes, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Whitney staff and visitors have the right to an environment free from abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior. The Museum reserves the right to remove any person acting in an unacceptable or inappropriate manner.
Advance timed tickets are recommended for best availability. Members may use their membership cards for anytime admission.
Museum admission is Pay-What-You-Wish on Fridays, 7–10 pm. Advance tickets for these hours are strongly recommended.
The Whitney Biennial will be on view through September 5. All general admission tickets include access to the Biennial. Please read about the exhibition’s accessibility information before visiting the 2022 Biennial.
Active military and veterans; staff from other museums; members of AAM, ICOM, CUNY, and Cool Culture; Reciprocal Museum Members; and press must book timed tickets in advance. Present your affiliate ID when you arrive at the Museum to verify your complimentary admission.
