Can industrial landscapes contain beauty? Elsie Driggs thought so. Driggs is one of the only women to be recognized for her contributions to Precisionism, a 1920s art movement in the U.S. Her beloved painting Pittsburgh (1927) is on view now in our seventh floor collection galleries.
