Latinx: Ed Morales in Conversation with Chon A. Noriega | Live from the Whitney

In Latinx: The New Force in Politics and Culture (Verso, 2018), Ed Morales considers the ways in which Latinx identity disrupts binary thinking about race in the United States. Drawing on this research, Morales speaks with media scholar and curator Chon A. Noriega about Latinx history and culture in the U.S., as well as the evolution of the term Latinx and its relevance in the arts today. This conversation is the first of three events in a yearlong series at the Whitney focused on new scholarship about Latinx art and culture.
