Interview with Whitney Neighbor: J.T Jobbagy Meats

Jan 3, 2014

The Whitney Museum's future home is located in the Meatpacking District, a twenty-square-block neighborhood on the far West Side of Manhattan. J.T. Jobbagy Meats, a meatpacking plant located down the street from the building, is one of the last of its kind in the neighborhood. In this video, Community Programs Fellow Liza Zapol introduces an excerpt from director Suzanne Wasserman's film Meathooked!, featuring interviews with butchers from J.T. Jobbagy.
