Inspired by the Harrison’s Survival Piece #5: Portable Orchard, join GrowNYC’s Gardens at NYCHA for a community workshop exploring the connections between food sovereignty, climate action, and community organizing. This hands-on experience is led by the co-founders of the GrowNYC Gardens at NYCHA program, Chantel Kemp and DK Kinard. Together they will explore themes including our relationships to food and the environment, artistic expression in agriculture, and sensory awareness.

The program is designed for visitors age fifteen and up.
