Education Center

Come celebrate the reopening of the Whitney Museum in American Sign Language!  Join us for a festive reception in the new Laurie M. Tisch Education Center as we welcome the NYC signing community back to the Museum.  Experience the Whitney’s stunning new building and inaugural exhibition America Is Hard to See with a tour of art and architecture in ASL, and check out our new Multimedia Guide video tour in ASL, now available free of charge for visitors who are deaf. The tour begins at 7 pm, with a pre-tour wine and cheese reception from 6–7 pm.

Admission to the tour and reception is free with RSVP. A limited number of spaces are available for ASL students to observe.
