Whitney Signs: Jaune Quick to See Smith

Join us for an in-person reception and tour of Jaune Quick-to-See Smith: Memory Map led by Deaf educator Emmanuel von Schack in American Sign Language. The event begins with a pre-tour wine and cheese reception from 4–5 pm in the Laurie M. Tisch Education Center. 

This tour will be in ASL and will not have voice interpretation. To request interpretation for English, Protactile, Spanish Sign Language, International Sign Language, another language, or additional accommodations, please email or call (646) 666-5574 (relay calls welcome) with two weeks’ notice.

This event is free but registration is required. Due to a limited capacity, we do not allow ASL students to attend. 


The Hearst Artspace and the Seminar Room are equipped with induction hearing loops and infrared assistive listening systems. Accessible seating is also available.
