The practice of drawing was central to the work and life of artist Ruth Asawa. Join Joan Tisch Teaching Fellow Jason Varikar to explore how material, line, surface, and space interact in her work to convey her boundless energy and generous spirit.

The thirty-minute session will introduce the exhibition by discussing highlights in context. Participants are invited to comment and ask questions through a moderated chat for a fifteen-minute Q&A following the talk. Explore more virtual tours.
