Verbal Description Online: Making Knowing: Craft in Art, 1950–2019

Verbal Description Online provides an opportunity for visitors who are blind or have low vision to experience the richness and diversity of twentieth and twenty-first century American art through vivid description. Ninety-minute sessions are free-of-charge and are offered monthly on Friday mornings through Zoom and over the phone. This session will focus on works from the exhibition Making Knowing: Craft in Art, 1950–2019.

All visitors aged 12 and older must show proof they have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine for admission to the Whitney, in accordance with NYC requirements.
