The Whitney Free Second Sundays Storytime series continues strong, teaming up with independent bookstores to showcase diverse voices and fresh perspectives that will captivate our youngest visitors.

Get ready for an amazing event this Sunday, July 12! We're excited to launch a fantastic four-month partnership with Librería Comunitaria Barco de Papel and Centro Cultural, a vibrant community-run bookstore and cultural center. Their mission is to bring the magic of the Spanish language and bilingual literature to the heart of Flushing and Elmhurst, Queens—and now, right here at the Whitney!

Join us for Storytime with the incredible Paula Ortiz, co-founder of Barco de Papel, along with our passionate volunteer readers. They'll be bringing to life stunning art-inspired books that celebrate the beauty of storytelling in both Spanish and English. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience—be a part of a celebration that honors the future of storytelling with us!

La serie Hora del Cuento, parte del Segundo domingo gratuito del Whitney, sigue creciendo, en colaboración con librerías independientes para destacar voces diversas y nuevas perspectivas que cautivarán a nuestros visitantes más jóvenes.
