Floor Eight, Hurst Family Galleries

Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patrons members

Each of these after-hours tours, led by a Whitney teaching fellow, provides an in-depth exploration of Mirror Cells, a group exhibition that features the work of artists Liz Craft, Rochelle Goldberg, Elizabeth Jaeger, Maggie Lee, and Win McCarthy. The artists use humble materials to create sculptures and installations that simultaneously resemble everyday objects and evoke strange, invented worlds. An outdoor (weather-permitting) wine reception will be open in advance of and following the tours.

Active Contemporaries members are invited to register for one of four options:

Wednesday, May 25
Option 1: 7:30 pm
Option 2: 8 pm

Wednesday, June 22
Option 3: 7:30pm
Option 4: 8pm

Open to Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patrons members. Space is limited and open to two individuals per membership. To RSVP, email contemporaries@whitney.org.
