This event is free, and refreshments will be provided. Walk-ins are welcomed. Edges of Ailey exhibition tours are limited to twenty attendees per group. No RSVP is required.

Museum Lobby
Open to older adults ages 60+
Join us for the return of Senior Open Access Day at the Whitney! Older adults are invited to visit the Museum during special hours. Attendees have the option of self-exploration or participating in a free guided gallery tour of the groundbreaking Edges of Ailey exhibition. In addition, enjoy the opportunity for quiet self-exploration and ask Whitney Museum experts about the trees in Survival Piece #5: Portable Orchard. We look forward to seeing you there.
This Senior Open Access Day will also feature drop-in artmaking and a special Alvin Ailey Dance Class: AileyDance for Active Aging from 11 am–12 pm. Join us for dance and conversation and learn about Alvin Ailey’s masterwork Revelations.
Required registration for the Alvin Ailey Dance Class opens in early September.
