A portrait of David Wojnarowicz’s life and work, this film by Marion Scemama is based on a five hour interview with Wojnarowicz conducted by Sylvère Lotringer in 1989. Scenes of Wojnarowicz speaking are intercut with previously unseen documents from David Wojnarowicz Papers, Fales Library and Special Collections, New York University; P.P.O.W and the Estate of David Wojnarowicz; and Marion Scemama personal archives. Following the screening, Marion Scemama speaks about her relationship with Wojnarowicz and the making of the film with David Breslin, co-curator of David Wojnarowicz: History Keeps Me Awake at Night and DeMartini Family Curator and Director of the Collection.

Runtime: 70 minutes.

Tickets are required ($10 adults; $8 members, students and seniors).
