Get creative in the Whitney’s new Hearst Artspace! This week artist Tom Berry invites you to create a collaborative cardboard garden. Berry will join us from 11 am until 1 pm on Saturday, July 25 to work with families and answer questions about his practice.

In the 1980s, artist Tom Berry worked alongside performance duo DANCENOISE at an East Village bar called King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut. He transformed the bar into different themed environments by creating sculptures made from cardboard. Berry has reimagined one of his installations in the Whitney’s theater lobby as part of the exhibition DANCENOISE: Don’t Look Back.
