For families with kids of all ages

What color is a banana? It’s not just yellow, it can be at least twenty five different shades! Join the Whitney to celebrate its collaboration with authors Jason Fulford and Tamara Shopsin on a new series of children’s books inspired by the way artists see the world. In this workshop, families are invited to create their own artworks experimenting with grey-greens, blue-reds, yellow-pinks, and more! The authors will be in attendance to talk about their work and encourage kids to look at color in a new way.

The books Find Colors and These Colors Are Bananas are available in the Whitney Shop and online.
