Floor 3, Theater

Bring your family to explore the legacy of ballet through movement, costumes, and character! Inspired by artworks in the exhibition Nick Mauss: Transmissions, parents and kids will transform themselves into a character of their choosing by creating a costume and then posing for a collaborative portrait.

Dancer Alexandra Albrecht will be there from 11 am to 1 pm to talk with families and suggest ways that they can express their characters by creating shapes with their bodies.

Visit Floor 8 to see how artist Nick Mauss connects ballet and art in his multidisciplinary exhibition. You can see dancers performing in the space each day from 12–4 pm and 6–10 pm on Fridays.
