Online, via Zoom

Join us for virtual Open Studio for Teens workshops! Teens are invited to a free artmaking program on Zoom with Whitney educators. Each week, participants will experiment, create, and learn together with at-home art projects inspired by the Whitney’s exhibitions and collection.

Howardena Pindell explores the processes of making art, using texture, color, and structure. In this session, participants will reflect on the places we have been and the places we wish to return to. Each of us will then create a painting from scraps inspired by Pindell's approach.
