A minimalist black-and-white artwork by Christine Sun Kim titled "My Voice Be Like ROYGBIV." The piece features a series of parallel black lines resembling musical staves, arranged in a rectangular, layered pattern. The lines connect to small black dots at their ends, suggesting musical notes. At the bottom of the composition, the handwritten text reads, "MY VOICE BE LIKE ROYGBIV," referencing the spectrum of colors represented in a rainbow. The artwork conveys a blend of sound, language, and visual art.

Teens are invited to join artist Christine Sun Kim in a special Open Studio for Teens, a free artmaking program held on select Fridays at the Whitney. Teens will experiment with combining visual art and language to create their own poetic, humorous, and thought-provoking artwork while learning how art can be a powerful way to share personal experiences and engage with others. Then, visit the current exhibition, Christine Sun Kim: All Day All Night to look closely at the artist's vast selection of artwork in her first major museum survey. ASL Interpretation will be available.

No prior art experience is needed—everyone is welcome.
