Join us online for the YouTube premiere of Resistance, the last episode in a three-part series created on the occasion of no existe un mundo poshuracán: Puerto Rican Art in the Wake of Hurricane Maria.

This final episode looks at the inherently political nature of artmaking in Puerto Rico and across the diaspora. Artists discuss how historic and contemporary events have shaped their practices and how, despite the constant threat of ecological and political disaster, the resilience of Puerto Ricans across the globe gives them hope for a brighter future.

Audience participants are invited to join a post-viewing Q&A and live chat with:

  • Marcela Guerrero, exhibition organizer and Jennifer Rubio Associate Curator
