Whitney Neighborhood Arts Walk

Tours at 11 am and 5 pm

Explore the cultural highlights of the Whitney Museum’s neighborhood with a Joan Tisch Teaching Fellow, from the area’s cultural and artistic history to public art installations by leading contemporary artists. Learn about the Whitney’s architecture, including the largo and the John R. Eckel, Jr. Foundation Gallery on the Museum’s first floor, which is always free of charge.

Each tour will last approximately 45 minutes. The tours are conducted outdoors; check here for cancellation due to weather. Registration is recommended; walk-ups are welcome.
