The Whitney is partnering with Mixtape to co-host a special Free Friday Night celebrating BIPOC creatives who are redefining culture. On January 23, join Mixtape in honoring entrepreneur Bevy Smith and artist Wardell Milan with a night of music and community featuring DJ April Hunt and YahZarah.
Kick off your weekend attending a dynamic conversation between Bevy Smith and Wardell Milan as they discuss themes of taking the leap to pursue their artistic practices. The evening continues with DJ sets by April Hunt and live performances by YahZarah and will crescendo into a dance party to end the evening on a high note.
