Take inspiration from color and composition in the Edges of Ailey poster and playbill collection. Consider how you might use color, shape, and text to express movement, gesture, sound, and rhythm.
Mini Dance Workshop: Revelations with Ailey Extension
Join Ailey Extension Instructor Lisa Johnson-Willingham to learn excerpts from Alvin Ailey’s signature masterpiece, Revelations. Participants of all skill levels are invited to explore iconic movements from this timeless ballet.
DJ Set: FKAjazz
FKAjazz ("forever known as jazz"), is a New York-based Grammy-nominated saxophonist, Billboard-charting music producer and DJ who fuses jazz, electronica, hip hop and soul to create a unique and genre-bending sound. His music is characterized by its lush melodies, intricate arrangements, and soulful saxophone solos.
