Sound, Line, and Gesture: A Synesthetic Happening

This synesthetic drawing workshop, led by artist Jaqueline Cedar, explores connections between sound, rhythm, line, and movement. Jason Moran and Nick Mauss's collaborative and theatrical approach to drawing will serve as inspiration.

Seminar Discussion: The Distance of the Everyday

After briefly tracing the history of the "readymade" in art, this seminar with teaching fellow Ayanna Dozier will explore works from Making Knowing: Craft in Art, 1950–2019 and other current exhibitions to ask: How are today’s artists continuing to challenge the institutions of art by using "everyday" creative practices and found “non-art” objects?

His gift for integrating many genres seamlessly into each set has delighted audiences in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and beyond.
