Louise Nevelson: Geometry + Magic (1982) is a portrait of the artist filmed by Diana MacKown and Rawn Fulton over a period of four years. They compiled the footage into a kaleidoscopic collage, overlaying images of the artist, her works and studio, and the urban built environment onto one another. The film underscores the importance of the process of collage in the works on paper on view in The Face in the Moon: Drawings and Prints by Louise Nevelson, and in the monochromatic wooden sculptures for which she is best known.

Speakers include:
Rawn Fulton, filmmaker
Chrissie Iles, Anne and Joel Ehrenkranz Curator
Maria Nevelson, Director of the Louise Nevelson Foundation
Clemence White, curatorial assistant and curator of The Face in the Moon: Drawings and Prints by Louise Nevelson
Laurie Wilson, art historian and Nevelson biographer

All members are invited to this event. For Individual members, the invitation is for one; for members at the Dual level and above, the invitation is for two.
