March 27, 6:30 pm, 8 pm

Join the Whitney for performances by Tigue during Free Friday Nights, co-presented by Public Records.

Tigue is a group of three percussionists (Matt Evans, Amy Garapic and Carson Moody) with a fluid musical identity. The Brooklyn-based trio makes their own kinetic and hypnotic blend of instrumental minimalism, while opening up the possibilities of their instrumentation through commissioning and collaboration. Their boldly colored compositions mix tightly crafted rhythmic structures and frenetic improvisations.

Admission is free to all visitors every Friday evening from 5–10 pm. In addition to music, join us for world-class exhibitions of contemporary American art, cocktails with views at Studio Bar, and more.
