With varied natural and urban instrumentation, this solo musical performance by 2019 Whitney Biennial artist Laura Ortman (White Mountain Apache) celebrates the summer solstice and showcases the wide range of her practice as a composer and visual artist. The artist plays against the backdrop of an installation she is creating for the Hess Family Theater, which can be viewed during Museum hours from Wednesday, June 19 to Saturday, June 22.
