Whitney curator Jay Sanders and avant-garde composer and performer John Zorn will discuss experimental performance practices. The talk coincides with Rituals of Rented Island: Object Theater, Loft Performance, and the New Psychodrama—Manhattan, 1970–1980, and Zorn@60, a year-long festival celebrating 60 years of John Zorn in New York City.
