Taking a cue from Edward Hopper’s spectacular rendering of light in his compositions—from strong rays of sunlight to the artificial glow of fluorescent bulbs-- artist and lighting designer Jennifer Tipton will invite visitors to explore the modern art of lighting through an evening of experimental demonstrations.

The My Turn public programs series expands the definition of the museum program by inviting a guest artist to interpret an exhibition or another artist’s work.

This event is free with Museum admission, which is pay-what-you-wish on Fridays, 6–9 pm. There are no special tickets or reservations.
