Jeff Koons: A Retrospective presents the most comprehensive chronological survey to date of Jeff Koons’s career, creating the opportunity to appreciate his diverse and complicated work as a multifaceted whole. Reflecting the scale of Koons’s work, the presentation is also the first single-artist exhibition to fill nearly the entirety of the Whitney’s current Madison Avenue building. Each tour, led by a Whitney teaching fellow, will highlight key works and series, illuminating important narratives and themes within this ambitious exhibition.
