In conjunction with Rituals of Rented Island: Object Theater, Loft Performance, and the New Psychodrama—Manhattan, 1970–1980, both Jared Bark and Sylvia Palacios Whitman will reinvestigate performances from 1977, initially performed within blocks of one another in SoHo.

Jared Bark will show portions from Krishna Concrete, originally created and performed at the Kitchen in February 1977. During May of that same year, Sylvia Palacios Whitman, who also danced for Trisha Brown, performed Passing Through at Sonnabend Gallery. She has recreated elements from this early work, as well as others.
