Yvonne Rainer’s Five Easy Pieces and David Lamelas’s The Desert People center on the social and physical dynamics between individuals. The psychological space presented in these works is set against the landscape of the deserts of the American West represented in Nancy Holt’s Sun Tunnels and Walter De Maria’s Hardcore.

This screening is free with Museum admission.
