The Whitney is partnering with Harlem Arts Alliance, Harlem Stage, Harlem Brewing Company and Sundae Sermon for a special edition of Free Friday Nights celebrating Arts Advocacy Month with Harlem and fostering connections among young professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives. Set against the backdrop of the recently opened Edges of Ailey exhibition, come celebrate Black excellence in the fields of dance, music, business, and hospitality.

Harlem Brew Soul: Book Talk and Signing with Celeste Beatty
5:30 pm and 8:30 pm
Celeste Beatty is the founder of Harlem Brewing Company. Join us to hear about her new cookbook featuring over eighty beer-infused soul food recipes, Harlem Brew Soul. Following each talk, the author will be available to sign copies of her book which can be purchased in the Whitney Shop.  

Vibing DJ Set: DJ Stormin' Norman, featuring DJ Kamala
6–8 pm and 9–10 pm

Groove to the sounds of Sundae Sermon's DJ Stormin' Norman, featuring DJ Kamala, creating an energetic atmosphere for mingling and networking.
