TYLERFROMWHERE is a Brooklyn-based DJ by way of the Midwest with a deep affinity for house, disco, and R&B, shaped by years on NYC's nightlife circuit both in the crowd and behind the decks. His sets balance groove and pressure, moving patiently between classic dance-floor foundations and modern selections, drawing from the dance music of his youth and cassette-tape discoveries pulled from his mom's collection. Tyler plays with intention and range, always tuned to the room, always in service of the groove.
Lord Fascinator is an Australian-born, New York-based DJ, composer and recording artist known for genre-spanning sets that blur the line between dancefloor, cinema and ritual. Drawing from psychedelic electronica, cosmic disco, krautrock, Afro-disco, Balearic and leftfield dance music, he approaches DJ-ing as a form of storytelling, building journeys rather than playlists—an approach reflected in releases like "Horse House" (with Kate Stein for Eskimo Recordings), "La Pary Sigue" with Daniella Valdez, and REISE with German psych outfit Spiral Drive.
A note on costumes:
Halloween at the Whitney is an inclusive and safe celebration for all. In that spirit, we do not allow costumes that perpetuate cultural appropriation, discrimination, or violence of any kind, including fake weapons.
