Gender Discard Party with Nayland Blake

Thurs, June 9, 2022
7–10 pm

Throughout the Museum

Adults, 21+

In collaboration with Biennial artist, Nayland Blake, the Whitney Museum celebrates Pride and LGBTQ+ communities with a free, after-hours event. Blake invites everyone to “B.Y.O.B: bring your own baggage,” an aspect of gender you are done with. Join us for an evening of personal and political liberation with discarding, swapping, live music, dancing, and more!

This event is free but registration is required. ASL, Braille, live captioning, and verbal descriptions are available for public programs and events upon request with two weeks advance notice. We will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests made outside of that window of time. To place a request, please contact us at Accessfeedback@whitney.org or (646) 666-5574 (voice). Relay and voice calls welcome.
