Founding Members
Founding Members make a commitment to the Whitney through the inaugural year in the new building and beyond and also support the Capital Campaign. Founding Members Weekend, the earliest member preview planned for April, is a special opportunity for this group of supporters to experience the building and enjoy the Whitney's much-anticipated inaugural exhibition, America Is Hard to See.
Founding Members are welcome to attend on one of two days:
Option 1: Saturday, April 25, 10:30 am–6 pm
Option 2: Sunday, April 26, 10:30 am–6 pm
Open to all Founding Members. An active Founding Membership card is required for admission. For more information about member preview opportunities or to join, gift, or upgrade a membership, please call (212) 570-3641 or email memberinfo@whitney.org. The Whitney opens to the public on May 1, 2015.
Please note: The Whitney’s restaurants, Untitled and the Studio Cafe, will be closed.
