For families with kids ages 6 and up

Join 2017 Biennial artist, filmmaker, and fashion designer Susan Cianciolo to create a communal space for afternoon tea with your family! In her work Run Restaurant Untitled, Cianciolo transformed the Whitney’s eatery by designing tapestries, place settings, and uniforms for the wait staff. In this workshop families will use textiles and sewing techniques to make customized place settings, and will then be served delicious tea and cakes!

This is for families with kids ages 6 and up and will not be developmentally appropriate for younger children. We advise families with younger children to attend Open Studio instead.
