Families create hands-on art projects inspired by discussion and activities in the galleries. This month discover how Frank Stella is inspired by things that move such as race cars, billowing smoke, and crashing waves. Then create your own abstract artworks based on movement.

This program has been developed specifically for kids 6 to 10 years old. Siblings are welcome to join the group but must have a ticket.

Saturday, January 23
2:30–4:30 pm

Please note: this event has been canceled due to inclement weather. Tickets are required; every adult and child must reserve a ticket to attend this program. Members: please log-in to view and reserve discounted tickets.

$10 per child, plus Museum admission ($22 adults; $18 seniors. Museum admission is free for members and children under 18). Families are encouraged to sign up for one tour a month. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. If you have any questions about which tour is most appropriate for your family, please email familyprograms@whitney.org before purchasing your tickets.
