(hosted by Ei Arakawa and Carissa Rodriguez)

Sun, May 11, 2014

As part of their contribution to the 2014 Biennial, Ei Arakawa and Carissa Rodriguez have invited Hālau Hula O Na Mele 'Āina O Hawai'i, a New York–based Hawaiian dance team, to perform. The dance team, including Arakawa, who has been a member for the last several months, will greet and bid farewell to Biennial–goers at the Museum entrance with a series of Kahiko hula, traditional Hawaiian dances. The performance will be accompanied by the sound of forest rain, and special program cards will be provided.

Please note: The performance will begin promptly at noon and will end at 12:30. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early.

Free with Museum admission. No special tickets or reservations are required.
