Floor 3, Theater

Kindergarten through twelfth grade teachers from New York City schools are invited to a free Educator Opening at the new Whitney. 

The evening includes guided tours of the inaugural exhibition America is Hard to See, art making activities, resources and ideas for the classroom, as well as light refreshments and opportunities to exchange ideas with like-minded colleagues. 

Doors open at 3:30. Arrive early for light refreshments! 

Guided tours: 4:15–5 pm and 5:15–6 pm 
Hands-on activities in Art Studio: 3:30–6 pm
Information tables: 3:30–6 pm
Independent viewing until 6 pm
