Tours for NYC Educators
New York City educators are invited to learn about the Whitney’s education programs and explore how to use the museum as a resource for teaching.
Throughout the evening, inquiry-based tours and guided close-looking experiences will be offered. Whitney educators will be available to speak about school and college and university visits, youth programs, and internships, as well as opportunities for cross-curricular learning and our bilingual offerings. The Open House will take place throughout the museum, with different activities on each floor.
This event is open and free to K–12 teachers, high school teachers, university faculty, community educators, and anyone with a pedagogical practice who would like to utilize the Whitney for their teaching.
