In conjunction with the exhibition Between the Waters, Demian DinéYazhi’ (Diné) reads selections from their poem: An Infected Sunset. This long-form descriptive prose poem is a reflection on queer sex, survival, death politics, indigenous identity, environmental injustice, and the importance of honoring community.

The evening begins with a performance by Laura Ortman (White Mountain Apache).
