Danny Lyon Book Launch: A Reading and Reception

In conjunction with Danny Lyon: Message to the Future, artist Danny Lyon joins us for a reading and Q+A in the Whitney Shop to celebrate the release of his two new books, The Story of Sam and Burn Zone.
The Story of Sam includes original photos by Lyon and tells the fictional story of an Australian Shepard named Sam who writes a screenplay. Burn Zone offers a radical and inspiring polemic on climate change.
A book signing and light reception follows the reading.
The Story of Sam and Burn Zone are now available for pre-order in the Whitney Shop.
The event is free. Registration is required.
Danny Lyon will only be signing books purchased from the Whitney Shop. Please note: This event has reached registration capacity. A limited number of standby tickets may be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. The standby line will open one hour prior to the program’s start time.
