Floor 1, Lobby

Open to all ages

After making a wearable sculpture with Whitney Biennial 2026 artist Pat Oleszko (11 am–2 pm), gather in the Museum Lobby wearing your creation and get ready to promenade with Jazz at Lincoln Center.

An exuberant New Orleans–style brass band with an Americana twist will fill play a classic interactive parade repetoire, mixing in songs inspired by Pat Oleszko’s work. Led by Pat Oleszko and the band, the celebration continues as we step outside and promenade around the Museum, transforming the sidewalk into a joyful procession of music, movement, and wearable art.

Please note: On Sundays, all visitors must enter through the front entrance. If you leave the building during the promenade, re-entry may require waiting in line.

Outdoor portions are weather permitting.
