Contemporaries Tours: Edward Hopper’s New York

Floor 5, Whitney Café

Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patron members

See New York through Edward Hopper’s eyes. Join fellow Contemporaries for a tour of Edward Hopper’s New York, which explores how the city inspired the artist’s evocative portrayals of the urban experience, from early impressions in sketches, prints, and illustrations to iconic late paintings.

Each tour, lasting approximately fifty minutes, will be led by one of the Museum’s Joan Tisch Teaching Fellows. A wine reception will be offered prior to each tour in the Whitney Café.
