Visit the Brooklyn studio of 2019 Whitney Biennial artist Troy Michie. Michie’s collages incorporate a wide range of materials, including found photographs, papier-mâché́, and elements of clothing.

Michie received his MFA from Yale University of Art and a BFA from the University of Texas, El Paso. His work has been exhibited at The New Museum, The Studio Museum in Harlem, and Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art, among others.
