Throughout the Museum

Celebrate two years of free admission with us at Free Friday Nights! Two years ago, on Friday, January 12, 2024, the Whitney launched our offerings of free admission and special programming for all, every Friday from 5–10 pm and every second Sunday of the month. Join us for a special birthday celebration—complete with cakes, cocktails, giveaways, and more! Enjoy an Afro-Dance class taught by Ailey Extension, capture the night at our photo booth, and soak in the stunning river views in the Museum’s Hess Theater. Plus, don’t miss live music in the Lobby by Dave Guy and April Hunt as part of Sixties Surreal B-Side.
