Artist Caitlin Keogh will discuss her work and process in conversation with the Whitney's assistant curators Laura Phipps and Elisabeth Sherman. From Arts and Crafts motifs to excerpts from Surrealist still life and Mannerist portraits, Keogh blends a wide-range of source material in her large, graphic paintings. The artist has stated that her precise, flat compositions represent "idealized or fictionalized versions of interiority." Two paintings by Keogh are included in Flatlands, the group exhibition curated by Phipps and Sherman.
