Contemporaries Patrons

Join for an exclusive walkthrough of Nathaniel Mary Quinn's exhibition The Landthe artist's inaugural exhibition at Salon 94 gallery in the Bowery. The artist will lead Contemporaries Patrons through this new body of work—a collection of 15 hybrid, fractured portraits that balance beauty and benevolence with the grotesque and sinister. The portraits draw from the artist's Crown Heights neighborhood, a diverse, working class black community undergoing rapid gentrification.

Nathaniel Mary Quinn's work Class of 92 is part of the Whitney's permanent collection.

Contemporaries Patron members are invited to this event: The invitation is for two individuals per membership household. To RSVP, email contemporaries@whitney.org with your name and membership ID.
