Floor 5, outside the elevators

Open to 25 and under

Bring friends or just yourself to engage with artwork through guided close-looking and conversation. Facilitated by a Whitney Museum Educator, this session invites visitors ages 18-25 to exchange points of view about artworks in the exhibition Amy Sherald: American Sublime. Participants are encouraged to join us for Free Friday Night following the program. 

Katherine “Kat” Cheairs is an interdisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and educator, based in New York City. She has designed and facilitated numerous arts-based programs for diverse audiences and is pursuing a Doctor of Education in art and art education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Cheairs is a deep-sea creature and black hole enthusiast.
